Competition rules & code of conduct

Version 2026-10-07.1 · Operator: Bradley Yarrow, Nigeria · Contact admin@rivalground.gg

Before entry

Be aged 18+, reside in Nigeria, verify email and accept current terms. Declare the exact game edition/platform you will use; cross-play is not assumed. Review the event’s mode, settings, format, schedule and rules snapshot. One person must not use multiple accounts to occupy seats or manipulate results. Free launch events do not award cash.

Schedule, connection and no-shows

Attend at the labelled time and check in yourself. Compare connection quality with the opponent before play; website speed is not in-game latency. A player who checked in may report a no-show after 15 minutes beyond the scheduled start; an administrator reviews records and gives reasons. Connection complaints pause play for review. Do not self-award a result or continue a disputed session merely to force a score. Cancellation or rescheduling depends on the recorded circumstances and game rules.

Reports and evidence

Submit real scores in the fixed player/team order shown. Matching valid reports confirm once; disagreement enters review. Cancelled/disputed records do not become wins. Submit necessary, relevant evidence privately through the match room and avoid unrelated names, contacts or personal information. Lobby setup and evidence collection are manual. Never publish private credentials, evidence or disputes on Discord.

Conduct and fair decisions

No cheating, exploit abuse, impersonation, threats, discriminatory harassment, account sharing or fabricated acceptance/results. Moderators should disclose participation or personal interests and recuse from their own dispute. A conflicted operator must arrange an independent reviewer before deciding; if none is available, hold the matter rather than invent a neutral decision. Report misconduct privately. Uncertain location information alone is not a sanction ground.

Appeals

Request review within seven days where practical, citing the match/reference and the challenged decision. An uninvolved authorised reviewer should consider evidence and record the outcome; no independent-reviewer availability is promised. Statutory complaints and privacy rights remain available. See support and appeals.
